The Village Association organizes a wide range of activities for children and young people together with the local Fiskars branch of the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare and other organizations.
One of the main forms of activity is the youth center. The youth center for primary school children is open at the village hall during the school term on Mondays from 13:00–17:00 and Tuesdays from 14:00–17:00. Activities for lower secondary school youth have been organized during the winter season with the help of volunteer parents, and the Village Association has offered workshop activities on various themes.
Schedules, special evenings, events, workshops, and their content are announced through Wilma and the village email list.
During spring 2026, the Village Association will invite young people to help plan and renovate their own space in the old scout cabin. The exact schedule will be announced via the email list and the notice board at K-Market.
The cabin includes a rehearsal space where the MLL Fiskars band clubs gather weekly under the guidance of Olli Kari.
The youth center Kolon, opening in summer 2026 as a meeting place for 12–17-year-olds, will announce its opening hours at a later date.
Other club activities in the village begin every autumn in August–September, and schedules are announced once they have been confirmed.
The clubs include, among others, a family club, music play school (“muskari”), band clubs, a ball games club, football activities through FC Saksipotku, and scout activities in the Polaris troop. In addition, the Raseborg Cultural Institute offers several hobby activities in Fiskars.
