Sauna

The Kieloniemi sauna is Fiskars Village Association’s single-heated sauna in Fiskars. Built by local residents, it is a unique traditional sauna situated in a scenic, undeveloped setting on the shore of Lake Degersjö.

The sauna is managed by a sauna team elected every spring. The team is currently chaired by Tuomas Laitinen. During the summer season, the aim is to heat the sauna approximately every other week. Exact sauna sessions are published on these pages and on the Liljekonvaljudden Sauna  facebook page.

Summer Village Sauna Sessions

The village saunas are heated by volunteers.

Village sauna, as its name suggests, is intended for village residents and their friends and family members.

Sauna fees are used to cover the cost of firewood and small purchases needed for the sauna. We hope that as many visitors as possible will choose the seasonal pass.

For the 2026 season, sauna fees are €7 per visit or €30 for the season.

Sauna Shifts and Rentals 2026

  • 5 July – Family / Men / Women
  • 18 July – Women’s session all evening
  • 19 July – Men’s session all evening
  • 26 July – Silent sauna sessions: men 16:00–19:00 / women 19:00–22:00
     (This session is reserved for silent sauna bathing — conversation should be avoided both in the sauna and in the surrounding area.)
  • 2 August – Village sauna
  • 16 August – Village sauna
  • 30 August – Village sauna
  • 13 September – Village sauna
  • 27 September – Village sauna
  • 11 October – Kekri sauna
  • 25 October – Autumn volunteer work day

Session times are generally 16:00–18:00 / 18:00–20:00 / 20:00–22:00. Please make sure you have left the sauna and changing room before the next session begins.

 

NOTE FOR PRIVATE SAUNA BOOKINGS

Anyone wishing to book a private sauna session must always contact the sauna team before making a reservation, in order to ensure that the sauna session can be arranged, as each session requires a sauna heater attendant. Questions regarding bookings should be sent to sauna@fiskarsilaiset.fi.

We also rent out towels and seat covers for a laundry fee of €5 per person.

For private individuals from outside the village, the price is €590 per session, including heating, towels, and sauna bench covers.

For companies, the price is €990 (VAT 0%; we are not VAT-registered), including heating, towels, and sauna bench covers.

A private sauna booking only becomes valid once it has been approved and confirmed by the sauna committee and all payments have been completed.
